Our Bleutrade experience
We have gathered experience with the South American crypto exchange Bleutrade, which we will share with you here. To do so, we took a critical look at the marketplace's offering and dealt with the fee model, support, the Bleutrade app and the security guarantees that Bleutrade provides. Can the exchange convince us in the test? Here you can find out everything you need to know before you decide to use Bleutrade.
What is Bleutrade?

Founded in Brazil in 2014, Bleutrade is a marketplace and trading platform for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as a variety of little-known tokens and coins. You can find the entire offer in the section "Bleutrade - the offer" further down in this text. The platform only supports the trading of cryptocurrencies with each other. Bleutrade does not offer payment options with fiat currencies. Bleutrade also does not offer leveraged trading of CfDs. Thus, the exchange does not count as a broker.
User reviews show that there are often problems with Bleutrade. The platform is comparatively slow and does not have the necessary liquidity to guarantee a smooth trading experience. The exchange says it is used by more than 300,000 people (source: LinkedIn.)
The platform can be used from many countries, including the USA and Europe.
Bleutrade advantages and disadvantages

A clear advantage of Bleutrade is the many cryptocurrencies offered on the platform. If you are interested in a special niche currency, you might find it listed here.
At first glance, however, the main disadvantages are obvious: You cannot buy cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin on Bleutrade. Instead, you have to exchange them for other cryptocurrencies. Bleutrade is therefore by no means an all-in-one solution.
Bleutrade serves the trading of krpytocurrencies
Is Bleutrade a broker or an exchange? Neither. The platform serves the trading of Krpytocurrencies among each other. Buying them against fiat currencies is not possible here. You will also look in vain for trading options, for example on CfDs, at Bleutrade. If you are looking for one or the other, you will find a good Bleutrade alternative in our test winner. Here you can not only buy cryptos, but also trade with leverage. The same applies to forex, futures and other financial instruments.
Bleutrade Review - the offer
Which cryptocurrencies can you trade with Bleutrade? Bleutrade offers many different cryptos, including exotic ones. They can only be traded against each other. A direct purchase against euros is not possible with Bleutrade. We list the offer.

Bleutrade Fees & Charges
What fees and charges does Bleutrade charge for using the platform? Let's take a look at that below. Bleutrade does not charge any fees for registering an account or maintaining your profile. This also applies to transfers to your profile. For these, the usual mining fees apply, for which Bleutrade itself is not responsible.
Bleutrade charges fees of 0.2 to 0.5 percent per trade. In addition, there is the withdrawal fee typical for exchanges, which varies at Bleutrade depending on the respective cryptocurrency. Bleutrade charges maker and taker fees of 0.25 percent each. All fees are deducted from your cryptocurrency balance. You can find an overview of all Bleutrade fees in our table:
Fee type | costs |
---|---|
Maker Fee | 0.25 percent |
Taker fairy | 0.25 percent |
Trading fee | 0.2-0.5 percent |
Many CFD brokers charge the so-called inactivity fee for long periods of inactivity. However, Bleutrade does not have such a fee. After all, Bleutrade is not a broker.
Bleutrade payment methods
It is common for exchanges like Bleutrade to require you to transfer the money you want to invest to your exchange profile. Because Bleutrade does not accept fiat currencies, the question of the available payment methods is quickly answered: You can only pay with cryptocurrencies on Bleutrade.
This assumes that you already own such currencies. If you really want to use Bleutrade for trading one of the altcoins listed there, you have to get some in advance. A good choice is, of course, always bitcoin. You can trade with it on most exchanges and broker platforms. We have summarised which exchanges are particularly suitable for buying bitcoin for you under the link.

Bleutrade licence and security

The Bleutrade exchange is an unregulated offering. This is so true for most crypto exchanges that are exclusively limited to trading cryptocurrencies, and is related to the fact that the legal status of Bitcoin & Co. remains unresolved in the vast majority of countries.
Where cryptocurrencies are traded via derivatives such as CfDs or via certificates, on the other hand, this is not the case. As a rule, broking platforms are strictly monitored and audited by the financial supervisory authorities. Since Bleutrade does not offer CfDs and the like, regulation is hardly possible at present. This has clear disadvantages for users. However, because this also applies to other crypto exchanges, it has no direct influence on our Bleutrade rating.
Security standards not explained in detail
Bleutrade does not elaborate on the platform's security standards. Instead, it points out what measures you can take yourself to protect yourself from fraud. For the security of your account, Bleutrade also offers two-factor authentication (2FA), which is automatically activated after your registration. This is less convincingly designed than that of other platforms, which use an external authenticator and require the use of your smartphone when logging in. Not so Bleutrade: here you simply get your 2FA code sent to the registered email address. This could be better.
How do you protect yourself against Bleutrade fraud?
If you buy Bitcoin directly, for example, you are responsible for the safekeeping of the coins yourself. This is one of the cornerstones that make cryptocurrencies special. You have to be accountable to yourself for the safe handling of cryptocurrencies. This starts with the choice of a suitable wallet and extends to the proper documentation and secure storage of important data.
Of course, the choice of your crypto exchange also plays a role. Nowhere are your cryptocurrencies more at risk than on exchanges. Exchanges are central hubs that are attractive targets for hackers and fraud. Not succumbing to a Bleutrade scam depends on careful preparation - and in case of doubt, not storing your cryptocurrencies on the exchange. In any case, we advise you to use a personal wallet. We have summarised for you how you can effectively protect yourself from fraud losses under the link.

Bleutrade Customer Service, Contact & Support

We do not have a good experience with Bleutrade on the service side either. Neither a live chat nor a telephone hotline is available to contact Bleutrade support.
At least there is a FAQ, which, however, does not (yet) provide answers to many questions. Even to such vital questions as "How do I register", the FAQ does not have an answer. Instead, there is a placeholder: "Coming soon".
Other options for contacting Bleutrade Support exist in the form of a contact form and (after registering) via the Zendesk platform. For the latter, an additional registration is required. A Telegram channel exists, but it is only used for company announcements. The same applies to other channels such as Twitter.

Trade coins with Bleutrade
You can't buy cryptocurrencies via Bleutrade - but you can trade them for each other. We show you how to do this.
Step 1: Registration
First of all, you need to register on Bleutrade. Choose your username and a secure password. You will then receive a verification code by email. Enter this code in the input mask and confirm. You will then receive another code. Enter this code as well and you can start using Bleutrade.
There were problems with our registration: The profile could not be registered due to a system error. We were asked to try again at a later date. We were only able to do so after a long wait.

Step 2: Verification

After your registration, you can now get verified by the marketplace in order to increase your limits for trading cryptocurrencies on Bleutrade. To do this, you will need, among other things, a valid identification document, which you must upload to the site. You can find more detailed instructions under My Account > AML/KYC. You will also need to enter your personal details here. Follow the instructions and complete your profile. Then you have to wait until Bleutrade has checked your documents and confirmed your verification.
Step 3: Transfer Bitcoin

To start trading, you need to transfer a cryptocurrency to your profile. You can do this with Bitcoin, for example. Click on "My Wallet" in the menu and search for the currency you want to transfer to exchange it for other currencies. Then click on "Generate address" to set up your Bleutrade wallet. Now you can send your Bitcoin (or the cryptocurrency of your choice) to the generated address so that it is available to you in your profile.
Step 4: Trade cryptos
Now that you have transferred your cryptocurrency to your profile, you can trade it for one of the other cryptocurrencies listed on Bleutrade. To do so, return to the main menu of your profile. Here you can choose a trading pair. The option for this is somewhat hidden (see red marking in the screenshot). Then define your trading volume in the purchase screen and complete the trade.

The Bleutrade App
There is currently no Bleutrade App and it will probably stay that way. Too many other construction sites exist that Bleutrade needs to work on. Moreover, apps for mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets are not really important for stock exchange portals. After all, apps are mainly relevant for traders who want to react to trends and price movements at any time, regardless of location.
Therefore, the fact that there is no Bleutrade app has no influence on our Bleutrade rating.
Conclusion - the Bleutrade review
For our Bleutrade review, we registered on the Exchange and systematically looked at the site's offering and specifications. Time for a conclusion in which we evaluate our Bleutrade experience for you.
The strengths of Bleutrade are quickly named: The exchange offers a wide range of very many cryptocurrencies that are not often offered on other marketplaces. This includes many absolute exotics.
Unfortunately, the advantages of the South American crypto exchange are already exhausted. Bleutrade is terribly confusing and cost us a lot of nerves in the test. Nothing works intuitively here. The cryptocurrencies offered for sale cannot be bought for real money. Instead, you have to transfer your own cryptos to the platform in order to exchange them for your desired currency.

Our Bleutrade Test: The Rating
There are also deductions in terms of security and service. It is not clear from the website which standards Bleutrade uses. The two-factor authentication is virtually ineffective, because instead of an external auth tool, it is only done via your email address. Bleutrade's offer is unregulated. This alone is typical for crypto exchanges and need not concern us in our evaluation of the platform.
Bleutrade support can only be reached via a contact form or an external service platform. Neither a live chat nor a telephone number is available. There is also no Telegram group where you can exchange information with other users or ask admins for advice. The support offer is therefore limited to the most essential and cannot compete with competitors such as eToro.
In view of the deductions in the areas of service and security, the lack of payment options and Bleutrade's poor usability, it is only enough for 1 out of 5 points in our rating. We recommend a Bleutrade alternative like our test winner.

FAQ
The provider is a crypto exchange where cryptocurrencies can be traded among each other.
In our test, Bleutrade was not really convincing. Few trading options and the barely existing customer support do not attract many customers.
The amount of one's own investment should depend on one's own liquidity, as well as on the chosen cryptocurrency and one's own risk appetite. In general, you should never invest money that you actually need elsewhere, as profits can never be guaranteed.
Here, the platform is convincing. Withdrawals are processed very quickly and, depending on the selected withdrawal method, are in your wallet within a few minutes to 2 business days.
You must already have cryptocurrencies if you want to trade at Bleutrade. Also, you should always know what you are investing in. Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, so you should first study the chosen coin in detail. If you have the necessary know-how, as well as the occasional bit of luck, nothing will stand in the way of early profits.
