CoinEx Smart Chain will pay up to $100,000 to creators of promising DeFi projects

The CoinEx Smart Chain (CSC) testnet was launched on 31 May. The project intends to hold a competition for DeFi projects with prizes of up to $100,000. This is reported on the CSC blog.

CoinEx Smart Chain is a blockchain that supports smart contracts and is focused on the DeFi sector. CSC operates on the Proof-of-Stake consensus algorithm. The blockchain is compatible with Ethereum: developers can port dapps to CSC directly or with minimal changes.

CSC is part of the ViaBTC Group ecosystem. It also includes the CoinEx exchange, the ViaBTC mining pool and the ViaWallet cryptocurrency wallet.

Following the testnet, CoinEx Smart Chain has launched a $10m seed fund, which will award up to $100,000 to developers of promising dapps. Selected projects will be allowed to place coins on CoinEx.

"Developing the market for DeFi projects is one of CoinEx's main goals. We welcome prospective developers and are ready to provide them with the financial, technical and marketing resources of the ecosystem," says CSC representatives.

To participate in the funding programme, you need to create a project on CSC or transfer ready-made developments to blockchain. An application form can be submitted via the google form.
