Tesla CEO Ilon Musk once again mentioned the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin, responding to a user comment about the capabilities of electric cars.
A subscriber reported that Tesla's autopilot is capable of identifying dogs.
In the comment, Musk suggested that electric cars would display the Dogecoin logo if they spotted a Shiba Inu dog.
The tweet had little impact on the altcoin's price. According to CoinGecko, DOGE gained 2% in the moment and almost immediately returned to its previous value.
As a reminder, in May a team of four core Dogecoin developers revealed that they had been working with Ilon Musk since 2019. Among his initiatives was to increase transaction throughput.
Earlier, the businessman said it was impossible to use the Dojo supercomputer to mine Dogecoin. At the time, the coin's price rose 13% in less than an hour.
Musk last wrote about Dogecoin, listing its advantages over Bitcoin and Ethereum.
