German footballer Mesut Ozil asked subscribers about bitcoin and Ethereum

Fenerbahce footballer and former German national team player Mesut Ozil has launched a poll on Twitter on the "question of interest to everyone" with options for "bitcoin" or "Ethereum".

Let me ask you the question everyone is curious about: Bitcoin or Ethereum?

More than 212,000 users took part in the vote. Of those, 55.7% preferred digital gold to the second most capitalised cryptocurrency.

Days earlier, Ozil updated his Twitter profile picture. The footballer joined the laser-eyed supporters expecting bitcoin at $100,000. Among them are Ilon Musk, MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor, Wyoming senator Cynthia Lummis, actress Emily Ratakowski and others.

Earlier, Adam Aron, head of the American cinema chain AMC Theatres, conducted his own poll. He asked subscribers about the need to add support for the meme-cryptocurrency Dogecoin. Two weeks later, AMC integrated the asset to pay for digital gift cards.

Recall that in March, Galaxy Digital cryptocurrency founder Mike Novogratz asked his Twitter followers what Cardano was and how the asset got such a large market capitalisation.
