Soros Fund Management has made cryptocurrency trading available to clients. This was reported by The Street, citing two knowledgeable sources.
According to them, trading began a few weeks ago - in addition to bitcoin, a number of other digital assets are available to traders.
The initiative belongs to Soros Fund Management chief investment officer Dona Fitzpatrick, the sources said.
Earlier, Fitzpatrick said that the money supply situation in the US "is a game changer for bitcoin".
"The infrastructure around cryptocurrencies is very interesting at the moment and Soros Fund Management is investing in it," she said at the time.
Recall that in March, the Soros family office participated in the funding round of crypto data provider Lukka. At the time, the fund also attributed its interest in bitcoin to the economic crisis.
