The initiative is designed as part of the company's strategic innovation project.
"At PortAventura World, we are deeply immersed in the digitalisation process to improve our guests' experience and promote new ways of entertainment," said managing director David Garcia Blancas.
As a reminder, in July 2021, the upscale boutique hotel chain Pavilions Hotels & Resorts added the ability to pay for room reservations in bitcoin, Ethereum and 40 other cryptocurrencies.
In March, Latvian airline airBaltic integrated ticket purchase for Ethereum, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, USD Coin, Binance Dollar, Gemini Dollar and Paxos.
