
Billionaire George Soros' family office has invested in bitcoin, Soros Fund Management CEO Don Fitzpatrick confirmed in an interview with Bloomberg.
According to her, the company "has a few coins - not many." Fitzpatrick called the cryptocurrency less interesting than "options to use DeFi and the like".

In June 2021, the media reported that Soros Fund Management had allowed clients to trade the first cryptocurrency and some other digital assets. The investment firm Bloomberg became aware of similar plans back in 2018.
Recall, Fitzpatrick previously attributed investor interest in bitcoin to the pandemic and the resulting economic crisis.
Soros himself in early 2018 called the cryptocurrency a typical financial bubble, but predicted that it would not burst, unlike others.
