
Canadian car company Daymak has announced that the first prototype of its electric vehicle, Daymak Spiritus, has begun test mining bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin and other cryptocurrencies. The process is being streamed on YouTube.
Spiritus is equipped with a GPU that starts mining while charging or parking. The profits flow into the built-in Nebula Wallet.
According to the video, the hash rate of the electric car is over 181 MH/s. The power consumption is 487 watts. Daily revenue is estimated at $14.95.
The company plans to patent the underlying Daymak Nebula technology and offer it to other car brands.
Spiritus will go on sale in 2023. Pre-orders are available at a fixed price of $18,495.
As a reminder, Daymak announced the three-wheeled electric car with a mining option in early June. In the first 60 days the amount of pre-orders for this line has reached $350 million.
Payments are accepted in bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin and Cardano, among others.
