The buyers own 18 addresses, each holding 8,000 bitcoins purchased back in 2018. During that time, bitcoin investments have yielded a 695% return.

A major holder (or multiple holders) of the cryptocurrency bought 29,800 bitcoins worth $923.8 million on July 16-18, BitInfoCharts data indicates. According to the service, the digital coins purchased were distributed to 18 addresses, each of which already held 8k bitcoins purchased back in December 2018.

At that time, the value of the major cryptocurrency was $3.9k per coin. In 2018, $561.6 million was spent to buy these 144k bitcoins. At the exchange rate as of 19 July, the value of these digital coins is $4.4 billion (695% profit).
