Chinese mining equipment maker Bitmain will supply US-based TeraWulf with 30,000 Antminer S19j Pro units.
Under the agreement, miners will be delivered monthly, from January to June 2022. As a result, the firm expects a 3 EH/s increase in hash rate.
TeraWulf plans to become a public company. The firm's website states that it is more than 90% carbon-neutral.
As a reminder, Bitmain has offered to help Chinese miners move overseas.
According to a prediction by Kevin Zhang, vice president of US mining company Foundry, approximately 90% of Chinese cryptocurrency miners will shut down equipment by the end of June due to the authorities' restrictive measures against the industry.
